Around Azeroth: O captain, my captain
As one of those stalwarts who only play Horde-side, I often miss little things that are only really accessible to my mortal enemies, the Alliance. For example, here we have a bearded draenei submarine commander and his wild-haired gnome crew, preparing for a mission in the Shimmering Expanse. Cute! And apparently he's also some sort of giant robot anime reference. But the Horde has Dragonmaw Port and its 30 Rock-themed inhabitants, so we probably still win. (Thanks to Arugadh of The Seekers of Truth on Farstriders [US-A] for the screenshot.)

I guess it shows how much of a WoW clothes horse I am that I can identitfy most of what he's wearing without checking WoWHead. The tunic, belt, and probably gloves and boots are the Sorcerer's set, with Aurora pants. And of course the Admiral's hat.

Pft, nothing wrong with being a WoW clothes horse.
I will say though that I really wish there was a version of the Admiral's hat that looked like it could be worn by a Horde privateer...that didn't require doing the Bloodsail rep. It would make my plots for a shaman privateer a lot more fun.

You might have Liz Lemon, but we have Admiral Aubrey.
Default win for the Alliance.

Horde is win in Cata, so you ain't missing much by playing Alliance-side...
More dynamic leaders, who actually walk outside their capitals!
More plots
More cutscences- Horde Twilight Highlands intro vs Alliance Twilight Highlands
More new content- Goblins get a proper 10-20 zone, worgen get a 1-13 zone and then disappear the rest of the game, while the goblins are everywhere
That's why I stopped playing Alliance and went Horde-side. There is so much more going on with the Horde then the Alliance in Cata.

Don't forget the Horde also has Blood Gulch, complete with its own Griff!
Caboose was very specific about that second 'f'.

Too bad, cause all you faction-biased snobs miss out on a bunch of stuff and are essentially playing half a game. Open your mind Elizabeth, abandon your petty prejudices and roll an Alliance alt.

Very true. I started playing Alliance because I had a friend on that side, became fascinated by the lore, and did almost every quest I could find. I just leveled my first Horde toon to 80 and had a blast seeing the other side of quests I knew so well, as well as story lines the Alliance doesn't see. Faction pride is fine and all, but rolling a toon on the "enemy" side is fascinating.
