Um, he grew about half the size of his head. I want to know what caused his rapid balding, growth, facial structure change, change into yellow glowing eyes, and paling of the skin. Talk about a massive model redo.

As demonstrated in The Shattering, the change to his jaw, the tattoos, the bulk, the shaving were all done to himself (or specialists). Although personally I think the change in skin and eyes was probably a result of the war in Northrend.
