Warlocks getting male and female versions of all demons

I'm happy to share we actually do have plans for offering players a choice between male and female versions of all warlock demons. This is a task already in our system, though I don't have a time frame for you at the moment. Other art tasks could always take precedence, but we're committed to making this happen. :)
It looks like warlock pets will be getting all new art as well as choices, potentially through glyphs, as to whether their demons are male or female. After reading this post, I quickly began to think about what each pairing of pets could be. Voidwalker and the voidmistress? Imp and girl imp? Succubus and incubus? Mrs. Infernal! I am eagerly awaiting all of this new art.
We have no time frame for these new pet models, but I would not hold your breath for patch 4.1.

I really question how this will work. As demons, the only one with a clearly defined sex is the succubus, and I'm totally cool with adding an incubus. But a 'voidmistress?' That's....creepy.

Well, the mythology dates back a lot further than that, back to before the 15th century. And the lore is about succubi AND incubi... succbi being female, incubi being male. In fact some references have the same demon taking either form, dependent on the sexual preference of the victim.
There's no reason that we shouldn't have a choice. In fact there's an argument that the demon should appear asexual to the warlock who is not being tempted by the succubus/incubus and the demon appear male to female enemies and vice versa.
The fact that game designers chose to only implement the succubus in the way they did is the sexist part, not the original mythology.
