WRUP: In one single minute ...
What can you do in a single minute? Quite a bit, really. You can run the full Double Dare obstacle course, human hamster wheel included. You can watch all the best parts of an episode of Maury. And, if you're a writer here at WoW Insider, you can use that single minute to respond to the weekly WRUP email, telling all your fans and readers exactly what you're up to in the World of Warcraft.
I guess Tyler Caraway didn't have that minute.
A lesser WRUP compiler may have let such an offense slide. But not this one. You see, dear reader, there's a new sheriff in town. And when you don't fill out WRUP, I fill it out for you.
Adam Holisky (@AdamHolisky) Winter is coming. Fuck yeah.
Allison Robert (@AllisonRobert) Redownloading the PTR after the recent Mac bug caused me to think I'd have to redownload it anyway (/sigh) and hopefully getting a few ZA runs. Other than that, I'm going to be catching up on some correspondence.
Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I'll be doing a lot more writing, maybe working on a couple of doodles I've been playing with, and making a trip further up in the mountains on Saturday. Why the mountains? Because there's still snow up there, and for some inscrutable reason my family would like to give it a really long, hard look before it goes away entirely. ... I'm not quite sure I get the reasoning behind that -- but hey, road trip!
Chase Christian (@madsushi) Going to IKEA for more furniture and watching all of the NASL recaps from this week. I also picked up The Name of the Wind since I realized I haven't read a book in many years.
Dan O'Halloran (@danoh) Playing Sword & Sworcery, World of Goo and Battleheart on the iPad in between school carnival and filing taxes late.
Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb) Still waiting on patch 4.1 here. I may just make a few test runs of the new dungeons on the PTR to get myself ready for live.
Dawn Moore (@dawnwow) Writing, reading, studying! Grinding some TB dailies I've neglected too.
Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives) I'm going to be starting a new playthrough of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, in the hopes of getting a perfect character set up for ME3. This time around, Kaidan is toast and Garrus is my man.
Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen) I'll be spending a lot of time milling around the auction houses in Azeroth, trying to grind my way up to a million gold. Otherwise, I'll be catching up on Fringe, writing up the next Spiritual Guidance, and otherwise just spending the weekend being awesome.
Joe Perez (@Lodurzj) Working on guild rep, as I'm still recovering from changing servers and guilds. Last push to exalted so I can get my firebird and my Aslan mount. Leveling up my warrior some more, and recently I've been addicted to the Blood Bowl video game. I used to play it all the time on tabletop but can't find anyone to play it with me anymore. The game has been quite enjoyable to fill the BB void in my life. Also: "Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you."
Josh Myers (@Elamqt) I've shifted gears away from my alt warrior and am now working on an alt hunter. She just hit 84, so hopefully she'll be raid-ready by this time next week.
Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra) The usual -- working on stuff, but this weekend I'm going to go support my friend who's running in her first marathon! Also I'm going to try the fishing derbies again, along with helping with the final push to guild level 25!
Lisa Poisso (@emused) Oh, @adamholisky ... Winter is HERE. Fuck yeah.
Mathew McCurley (@gomatgo) Potentially fun and busy Saturday, lots of writing on Sunday. I want to finish Dragon Age 2 this weekend, and start on a new Mass Effect playthrough for the same reasons as everyone else -- get a perfect Mass Effect 3 save. Also very excited for A Game of Thrones.
Matt Low (@matticus) Leveling up yet another priest. The biggest question is what am I watching? Catching up on Community and Arrested Development. How did I not know about these TV shows earlier? What additional comedic genius am I missing out on? Cooooool. Cool cool cool.
Matt Rossi (@matthewwrossi) Hopefully working on my novels. Yes, I'm working on two of them. Don't worry, I am not anywhere near finishing.
Sarah Nichol (@mentalshaman) "When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground."
Tyler Caraway* (@murmursofadruid) My weekend -- oh, where to begin? On Friday, I'm planning on spending some quality time crying under my bed. On Saturday, I'll be back visiting Fox's Facebook profile to print out some more of his pictures and finish my creepy stalker collage. And on Sunday, well ... you know me! It's back under the ol' bed for another cry!

oh, and matt, you should check out the show "studio 60 on the sunset strip." it's only got one season, but by far one of the most brilliant shows i have ever seen.

"Winter is coming" are the words (aka motto) of House Stark from A Game of Thrones, which premiers on Sunday.
I really wish I had HBO :(

Potato Sack games and the agonising anticipation of Portal 2.
Currently trying to beat the Defense Grid: Awakening Portal themed level.

@Chase Christian
Is NASL for SC2 only or are there other games there as well?

Gamestop had a nice sale last week and I had a bunch of gift cards.

@ Matt Low - do yourself a favor and check out Party Down, and if you have time Parks & Rec(season 2 and beyond), and Archer.
Litchee Apr 17th 2011 8:56AM
Didn't quite get Party Down, myself. Wish I had, since it was (at least in part) made by the genius creator of Veronica Mars, Rob Thomas (and featured several actors from the show).

Tyler's comment should have had #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement instead of an asterisk.
