My two most-used priest macros (apart from my mouseover macros which are basically the same as all my healer mouseover macros) are the Smite and Shadowfiend macros. The first one allows you to Smite your focus's target so you can Smite away without changing targets:#showtooltip Smite/cast [target=focustarget, harm] Smite The other one sends my Shadowfiend after my target's target. I'm going to add the /petaggressive line to it though since I didn't realise that was why my Shadowfiend kept returning to my side. I copied this one from a webpage so I wouldn't be surprised if some of it's redundant though:#showtooltip Shadowfiend/cast [nopet,harm][nopet,target=targettarget,harm]Shadowfiend/petattack [harm][target=targettarget, harm]On the mouseover macro front, I use them pretty much exclusively for all my healers. The main reason is that they are saved on the Blizzard servers so if I am using a different computer I don't have to worry too much about addons, I can just jump on and heal away.

You don't need the harm clause in there. Smite only works on targets you can harm. The harm is needed if you want to use penance/holy shock offensively. Unless this changed recently and I'm wrong.

I personally use;#showtooltip Smite/cast [target=targettarget, harm]smite; smite This means that if my target is hostile it'll smite, if my target is friendly it'll smite their target.
