I was always sorry I never got to experience it from the Alliance-side, but the server my high level Alliance were on planned it for a weekend I was away, then the gong-ringer sprung it at 2:00 a.m. without telling anyone or something like that, so not many got to see it (the latter was on Silvermoon).
