I've Been Everywhere is a cover of Johnny Cash's original song by World of Filkcraft. Even if you don't dig the video itself, then hopefully you'll certainly enjoy the song. World of Filkcraft has done a great job of translating Cash's litany of travel to Azeroth.
The song and video are both a little dated, which is no surprise since it was created long before Cataclysm was released. Still, being a sucker for good filk, I couldn't help but feature it again. You can also pick up the audio track from the creator for free, which makes the whole thing even better. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at moviewatch@wowinsider.com.
From Wikipedia: "The song "I've Been Everywhere" was written by Geoff Mack in 1959 and made popular by the singer Lucky Starr in 1962.
The song (as originally written) listed Australian towns. It was later adapted for Hank Snow for North American (predominantly United States) place names and by John Hore (later known as John Grenell) with New Zealand place names (1966)."
I love this video. Anything that has ever been sung by Hank Snow and/or J. Cash is AWESOME. ;) Oh and everyone should listen to the Stompin' Tom version as well. Canadian ICON!
I'm always impressed by how well this artist made the lyrics work in this.

Loved the WoW take on the song.

You can't be too surprised this site ignored that. They're quite good at pretending the Southern Equator is just water.

Of course the definitive version was the one by Aunty Jack where "everywhere" was defined as "Woolongong, Woolongong, Daptoe, Woolongong".

Awesome! Very cleverly adapted to WoW, and the achievement at the end is perfectly placed.

This made me happy. So happy.

Big fan of the Johnny Cash version myself.

Somehow, Rick Moranis's "I Ain't Goin' Nowhere" seems appropriate.

A tower way out in Azshara bay (Bay of Storms, to be precise), back in the pre-goblin days.

That was delightful, and he got his title at the end to prove it.

I believe the current lingo on the interwebs would be... 5/5 would watch again.

That was very well done. Made me laugh. And yes, the achievement at the end was priceless.

Very cleverly done. My favourite line: "Undercity (what a pity)".
