I'm going to have to agree with Netherscourge.

The idea is really cool, the whole approach is very clever, and I got a lot of fun out of watching him knock people out of the sky.

That being said, he's still ganking people, because even someone who is paying full attention can't possibly do anything to save themselves or fight back. I understand ganking is a part of a PvP server, but what these guys do isn't exactly engaging in a fair fight.
