I'm wondering because if I get the buff then it might be easier to hearth down there and run to the springs since finding someone to wand me was always the hardest part of Noblegarden when I did it with my alts.

That's assuming you don't lose the buff when you hearth.

Gadget is pretty close. If you are high level, you can run across the zone with no problem.

And no, hearthing doesn't remove the buff. Neither does eating. It's rather cute seeing bread going in circles around the bunny's mouth.

There is an inn in UnGoro now. The southeast camp has a white tent with an ogre taking up most of the room, but it does turn on a rest area, and you can talk to him to set that point.
