I may be looking at things incorrectly, but on my Mage in game when I look at the achievement for Chocoholic it says I only need to eat 25 eggs, not 100 like the article suggests. Is there a reason for the discrepancy?

Because like most achievements that count how many of something it has steps, the first step being eat 25 eggs.
