Agreed; Dwarves for a number of reasons:

*Most armor looks very good on them without visual stretching of the textures typical of the taller races
*Their animations are visually appealing for both sexes, casters, melee, and ranged classes
*Their selection of faces, hair, and skin tones are varied and well done, particularly since 3.0.2
*Unlike most races, I have never tired of the voices (which gets important after the hundredth, "I can't cast that yet")
*Tons and tons of lore; we'll never run out of evil to fight and Legendaries to equip with these guys continually digging it all up
*Best beards in the game
*Have you seen the original cinematic with the Dwarf Hunter? Reason enough to play one
*Because Gimli > Legolas
*Brewfest
*The Bronzebeards
*Best /flirt and /silly emotes in the game

Ohhh you left out best /cheer!!! "WHOOO HOOOO!" (that's actually how I fell in love with dwarves). lol

During my rare excursions of playing outside of the Horde, I play Dwarves. They're my favorite _Alliance_ race. I'm still amused by my dwarf priest's braids whipping about as she casts.

I love dwarves because we share the same /flirt lines. "You look pretty. I like your hair. Here's a drink. Are you ready now?"

It's the accent. I'm sucker for the accent. /blush

DWARF LOVE!

Honestly I just loved my dwarf-gal the first time I hit the emotes. She just "fit." It's hard to explain. I really do think I am a dwarf, deep down. :D

How can you not love them. They play hard, work hard and love hard. ;) They are happy enough to leave other people alone but you mess with one of their own, they will mess you up.

I think the female dwarf has some of the cutest emotes and the flippy braids of DOOM are EPIC!

I've managed toons of every race, and yeah, the dwarves are definitely my favorite. The best looking models in the game (in terms of low distortion and visual appeal), the accent, the lore, the lines, the differences in the clans (Wildhammers FTW!!!) -- all add up to a race that I love playing, no matter the class. Come ON, Blizz, give us the ability to have tattoos, and I'll be nerd-gasming for weeks.

Second favorite are the gnomes - but ONLY the gnome women (and even then, just the pink pigtails) just for sheer adorable factor. And I have to admit that my third favorite are the new goblins, if only for the sheer goofy techno-delight of their starting area and cities; their models look distorted and off, but that thick New Joisey accent is wonderful.
