I know this may sound kind of crazy and/or wacky, but have you tried standing in the middle of the mob attacking the flag carrier? Crazier even yet, have you stopped healing shortly before the flag carrier dies so you can start getting ready to click on the flag as soon as it drops?

I have completed SoHK on two different PvP healers (Druid/Pally) and I can assure you it can be done. This is not a "i'm better then you, I can do it why can't you noob" statement, i'm just pointing out the obvious.

If standing 30 yards away from the flag carrier and healing isn't getting you the flag drop, maybe you should stop calling it unfair, just stop healing, stand in the middle of the pack and try and snag that flag. I'm not a big fan of SoHK, but sometimes you just gotta do what you just gotta do to get the achievement, and if that means suspending healing when the flag carrier is about to go down and stand in the middle of the pile, then do it.

Totally unrelated pro-tip for DKs wanting the WSG-portion of the SoHK achievement. DO STAND 30 YARDS AWAY FROM THE FLAG CARRIER AS HE NEARS DEATH. Have him targetted and when it looks like he's one or two hits from death, DEATH GRIP HIM to you, well away from all those flag clickers, do the finishing blow yourself, safely distant from everyone else and casually click on the dropped flag that is all yours now.
