@Sillystring, Drak, and Dreyja
Who is this Khaleess and what territories has he ruled? What wars has he fought? What makes him qualified to say that concession is the only course for the Alliance? Make no mistake; the Alliance was wronged in this war. It was Thrall who left Garrosh in charge of the Horde, despite the protests from the Alliance and his advisors: Vol'jin and Cairne, warning him of his warmongering tendencies. And because of this, he let the Horde unleash brutality and destruction on the Alliance. And because of that, the Alliance has had to suffer the Horde’s invasions in Ashenvale because they would not submit to being extorted for their resources to provide for an enemy who conspire to use covert means to expand its sphere of influence at the expence of the Alliance. Even Gilneas, who had no interest in the Alliance’s or Azeroth’s politics, and even built a massive wall to separate themselves from it, couldn’t escape war or destruction because the Horde premeditatedly targeted their lands for their territorial expansion.
Tell me, if you say concession is the best course of action, what nation has ever been invaded or attacked in real life, have ever settled for forgiving the trespasses of their enemies unless they were intimidated into negotiation? Why didn’t America surrender to Japan when they hit Pearl Harbor?
The reason why is because as Ike once said, “The hand of the aggressor is stayed by strength — and strength alone.”
Dwight D. Eisenhower once said “We must be ready to dare all for our country. For history does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. We must acquire proficiency in defense and display stamina in purpose. We must be willing, individually and as a Nation, to accept whatever sacrifices may be required of us. A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both. These basic precepts are not lofty abstractions, far removed from matters of daily living. They are laws of spiritual strength that generate and define our material strength.”
In the days of WWII, people would not stop fighting until unconditional victory was met if they were hit with a premeditated invasion. But because Thrall could possibly return, the Alliance is to forgive the Horde’s rampage on their nations, and have to rebuild the ruins of their cities and settlements without any compensation from the Horde what so ever? That sounds like a shit deal. But I’m not the writer of the story. If the leaders of the Alliance are content with that, if the Alliance players are content with that, then what ever fate befalls on them, good or bad, was earned by their apathy.

Why is my name included in this?
I made no comment about what the Horde and Alliance have done towards each other in this comment section.
I thought you were going for a Star Trek reference at first with "Kahless".
