WoW Moviewatch: How to get your movie featured on WoW Moviewatch

The most important thing to keep in mind is that WoW Insider is a PG-13 blog. We include some very mild language, animated video game violence, and almost nothing in the way of sexual content -- any such content that isn't graphic. While we understand this is a somewhat loose guideline, a bunch of cursing, nudity, and sex will push the video toward unpublishable here.
Any kind of racial, gender, or other slur will result in an instant disqualification. This includes any kind of ugly language. Yes, something may have slipped by us in the past five years, but this is our most strict guideline. Anything mean-spirited is something we just don't run; that's not what WoW Insider is about.
We feature machinima, music videos, live action videos, and even gameplay videos. Slideshows don't tend to make it, but that's not a strict rule. We tend to look for things that are enlightening, entertaining, or educational.
To get your video on WoW Moviewatch, someone needs to tell me about it. I follow a lot of feeds, know a lot of people, and do my best to go out looking, but the best way to be sure your video comes to our attention is to drop an email to machinima@wowinsider.com or even mail me at mikeg@wowinsider.com.
I rarely run or deny a movie based strictly on personal taste. I will sometimes not run a movie that I think isn't quite ready for the publicity a post would bring to it. I feel that everyone has to start somewhere in machinima, but I won't throw a video to the wolves if I think there won't be any positive reception.
Even if you're brand new to machinima, go ahead and drop us a note. Be aware the internet is occasionally a strange place; don't be afraid to email me again, as email does sometimes disappear. I look forward to hearing from you!

And sometimes all you need to do is go to "contact WoW Insider" and say, "Hey I made a movie - go watch it!"

Except for in-game racial slurs of course. A good Gnome Punting video is worth risking the wrath or the Gnomish Rights groups.
