"strongest trolls on the planet" for some reason, this is just so hilarious to me.

I have to take issue with Mat McCurley and his attitude towards rolling Need out of spite.
Just because some guys were jerks to him after he was essentially rude to them doesn't justify going out and being a jerk all the rest of the time so you can 'get them before they get you'.
Congrats on being a part of the problem.

I don't roll need out of spite. I roll need on things that I need for my off-spec because I know that other people are going to be the jerk I wish I could be. It happens with trinkets ALL the time. The only way to fix this is to make it so you can only roll need on the spec that you entered the dungeon with and that probably isn't happening any time soon.
People just need to be more upfront at the beginning of dungeons with which specs people are going to be rolling on. It all began that fateful day that a mage stole the Essence of Gossamer from me because "stamina is good for PvP so I need it."
Never again.

I listen to most episodes of this podcast, and I've always felt you guys do a decent job. However, about 40 minutes into the 3 May show Matt Rossi is clearly eating while he's talking, for some reason this greatly annoyed me. I consider you guys a semi-professional group at least in the sense that you're getting payed from the add content I view on this site. A little bit more professionalism on the podcast would go along way to improving the show.
Hope you guys continue to improve.

i have to say i kind of agree with dean here. mat, you're right, sacco is a "saint" when it comes to only needing on the spec that you que going into the instance. i try to do the same thing when i heal (i don't need on dps gear unless everyone else has greeded first). is it frustrating? yes, at times it is, but really this is the most fair way of doing it.
being a law student myself, i was somewhat surprised at mat's take on this. he is usually very objective with his comments and analysis, but here clearly you've allowed an isolated negative personal experience to affect the way you're going to roll in the future. come on now, justice WILL come back to prevail over those people who abuse the system, lol. a lot of the things you guys say on your show are heeded by a pretty decent size of the WoW community, meaning a lot of players are going to do what you guys say is okay to do. i guess i just think the best way is to lead by example.
i don't mean to rag too much, i really don't. love the show, keep it up!!
