Why would they change this?

Not that it really matters i guess. I've only gotten her once in over 100 uses anyway...

Because she can be permanent on you now if you get her. So people were buffing her, and killing her (opposing faction.)

They did a similiar thing with the Clockwork Robot a few years ago, It could be buffed, shielded, everything. Made for an interesting minigame ontop of it's robot fighting behavior. Letting people see how far they could get their robots to fight. Then they removed to the ability to buff them.
