Among these models are all of the Firelands bosses, the vanity pets we mentioned earlier, and a full spread of new mounts -- new PvP mounts, firehawks, and all of that sort of thing. Do note, however, that the particle effects are not necessarily in place on these models in Wowhead's Flash viewer, so they won't all look quite right. The firehawks in particular are less than desirable without their fancy particle effects. If you switch to their Java viewer, it looks quite a bit better.
Oh, and that studly stag at the top of this post? The one and only Malorne. Whoa, whoa, back off, ladies. He's taken. That's Elune's beau, you know.

I don't know why WoWInsider is missing it, but MMO-Champion has a picture of the Alliance version.
It's a horde with massive, spiked armor. It also has the head of a Forsaken, Troll and Goblin strapped to the back (and maybe more, but we can only see one side).
Let me repeat that.
Heads of Horde races hanging from the staddle. Not skulls, heads with skin and their mouths hanging open because they're so dead.

All I can say is that having such a damn cool antlered model like that in-game gives me hope for other damn cool antlered models in the future.

Also: I really, really hope someone in my guild will want to get the legendary staff. I'll help them in any way I can, even volunteer to put in the work to get it myself, if it leads to getting that absolutely adorable little curly-horned dragon pet. Serious "awwww!" factor here, folks.

If you look up the lore on Malorne, he made a bargain with Elune to save him when he was being hunted by Tauren.
Elune wanted him to love her. She literally bargained with him for what eventually became, uh, a sexual relationship. This produced Cenarius.
And as Elune created the Night Elves in her image, and she had a, uh, relationship with a stag who is said to have NEVER shifted out of form, that's just a bit odd.

3 things i don't want to do for the bad ass war mounts 1 ( win rated battle grounds) 2 ( win arena battles) 3 ( have to kill all the faction leaders )

According to MMO-Champion, they're rewarded for winning 100 and/or 300 Rated Battlegrounds.

Scary to see that Ragnaros may still have legs, I guess it might still be possible at "some stage" of the encounter, despite what we've seen in the video preview of 4.2 - seeing as that just showed him idle - not in combat! Maybe he'll burst out of his lava pool? I hope not.

Normal mode Ragnaros has him in his hot tub. Heroic mode Ragnaros he gets out of the hot tub, that's when you see his legs. So just don't do Ragnaros on heroic and you'll be fine.
I have to say I'm kinda OK with his teensy legs, because of perspective. When you're right up behind him stabbing him in the ankles, they won't be omg huge cankles like Ozruk has, there'll actually be some definition to the feet. The top half of him, being further away, will look proportionate.
It's mostly those huge shoulders that make him look top-heavy, really.

Thanks for the info, good to know. Ah well, I'm sure we can get used to it. The encounter itself and the apparantly VERY significant differences between HC and Normal sound very interesting at the very least :)
