Yeah, I know everybody says that. I think I'm going to keep using "inscriptionist," though. For example, in this content, telling a rookie where to look for crafted relics, the word "scribe" might be confusing to them - "inscriptionist" tells them just who to look for, since it clearly refers to a person doing inscription. If you don't like inscriptionist, I'd be ok with:

Inscriptioner
Inscriptionator
Inscriptionulator
Inscriptionster
Inscriptionador
Inscriptionista
