Christopher Walken would make an excellent night elf, I just realized.
I'd like to see Warwick Davis as a gnome.
Arthas would absolutely have be played by Vladimir Kulich; I'm fairly certain they modeled Arthas after him. I'm not sure how great his English is, but they could always dub his lines.
Also, Robert Downey Jr. is way too young. Greymane is like a hundred. Well, at least in his early eighties. Robert Downey Jr. is a bit too "hip" for the role, I think.

Richard Attenborough as Greymane. He's 88, so they'd better get on it quick. ;)

I didn't have issues with Downey Jr. being too young just because of what they can do with make up and such. Actors can go up and down in age, especially male actors, so easily in Hollywood. Just think of Doc in the beginning of Back to the Future, or any film Russell Crowe has been in when he plays a much older or younger character than he actually is.
