You really should check Biel out in Powder Blue or Home of the Brave before you say that. I think she's looking to be the strongest of Alba and Beckinsale (both who get similar parts) just because she's landing so many good and different roles. Different roles do so much for an actors growth as a performer - look at Dicaprio. Honestly I think Alba could have done it better 10 years ago but she's been stuck getting recast over and over again as the same role.

As for Tomei, every actor I cast I did an image search with their name plus 2010 or 2011. Anyone who was too old now would definitely be too old in five years when this film could even start casting. Hollywood isn't as forgiving on age for actresses, and Tomei would be 50 at the earliest date they could start production.

lol you saw her stripper scenes then? Yeah, the last 3/4 of that movie is Biel fan service for a half hour and the script takes a nose dive at the same time so I guess it goes hand in hand. People say she overacted but I don't fault an actress for doing the best she can with bad material... The script really made no sense and she at least made each scene work within itself for the lines she was supposed to be saying. The progression of each character in the script was monstrous.
