Does anyone know who did the art above? It's awesome!
Dragon_eel asked:
Will the new Legendary staff require a 25 man raid group like the previous ones in WotLK? Or, since the loot drops are the exact same, are fragments and quests items are obtainable in 10 man also?
Blizzard's official preview stated that you did not need to do 25-man raids to complete the staff. It'll just take longer with a 10-man group.
Jamie asked:
Could I expect Chaos Orb to become BoA or not soulbound? I leveled a Tauren Pally Tank for Cata and didn't have a maxed engineer so made him one. Now I am collecting Chaos Orbs and there isn't much reason to burn them on the gun or bow since they are 346 and my blacksmith could make more use of them or at least destroy them all with my tailoring for a dreamcloth. Each more use than engineering.
We just don't know what Blizzard's plan is for the orbs. At this point, it doesn't appear to be worth stockpiling orbs with the assumption they'll eventually become not soulbound. Even if they do for 4.2, which the PTR does not indicate, the new crafted stuff also requires Living Embers to complete.
Jolly asked:
I play a druid, resto primary, balance secondary. Is it bad etiquette to queue up in RDF as healer, then go questing as balance while I wait, then switch specs to resto once I'm in?
Heck no. It'd be poor form to queue as a healer and play the instance as a moonkin, but your solo time is yours.
Poddin asked:
Whats the best way of getting 310% flying, other than buying it for 5000g?
Complete the Long, Strange Trip achievement by getting every single holiday meta achievement, and get the purple Proto-Drake and free 310% flying. That's the only other way.

Question for the Queue:
Has there been any indication that the DK-only hair colors will ever be usable by non-DKs? I know it's a small, silly thing, but I'd love for my NE mage to be able to rock the magenta hair. ^_^

Also, because I forgot: seconding the hope that someone can provide a link to whomever drew that picture, because it's awesome. ^_^

Death Knights don't have Magenta hair O.o Magenta is a purplish pink. DK specific hair colors are pure white, blue and teal.
Eddy May 7th 2011 2:57PM
NE DKs can have magenta hair, if I remember correctly, on their alternate, decaying-looking skin.

Magenta.

I've seen a nelf-dk rock out with the hot pink hair.. in desperation I searched since I wanted my drood to be a hot pink kitty instead of a purple one. I hope they provide more colors & hair styles in the future.

I've noticed some of the DK hair options at first appear to be unavailable normally, but that's actually because they are normal hair colors that look different because of the tint of the DK character creation screen (everything is darker and bluer than it looks on the non-DK character creation screens). Once you get into the game and get into an area with normal lighting, you'll see that a lot of them are identical to normal hair colors.
The DK creation screen lighting is a big pet peeve of mine, that and MMOs that have your characters in the character creation screen wearing super-fantasti-awesome armor that you will not seen until a couple dozen levels later. :(

Id like to be able to have one of those hair colors on my worgen DK instead of just while i'm in Human form.
Noyou May 7th 2011 7:17PM
@Vrykerion
Nope. The DK hair colorings are definitely a different tint. As a registered alt-o-holic I have made many a DK and run them through the starter zone. It may be that when you get to a city you can go and get "normal" hair tones/cuts. I think it is more apparent in Night Elves and trolls.

I'd like to see red hair, not orange, not ginger, but crayola crayon red...that's my hair color in RL, and I'd like to reflect that in game.

Dwarf Women are sexy

Amen, brother!

Yes! A thousand times, YES!

I like my undead women to look a little more....dead...if ya know what I mean.
Strawder May 7th 2011 2:55PM
Dwarf and Orc women are the two races that can go to the bar with you, drink you under the table, cuss louder and flame harder than your drunk self is doing at the biker guys across the room, tank the ensuing bar fight to protect your passed-out ass and then sturdy enough to have you lean on them as they help you home, and brag about the size of the grapefruit she left on the one guy's head.
They also likely won't think much of it when you vomit.....repeatedly.
Also, they're dead sexy and got bodies that can go for miles.
How in the hell can you not love a Dwarf or Orc woman?
Deathknighty May 7th 2011 3:16PM
Well, just imagine what those nasty big teeth might do if it ever came to oral.
*shudders*
Dreyja May 7th 2011 4:01PM
Amen brotha! Though I have to say that I'm not sure why this particular artist decided to make the dwarf into a bowling-ball. ;)
Eddy May 7th 2011 4:06PM
Once, a guy told me that he thought I looked like an orc. Then he proceeded to talk about how much he was into that body type. At the time, I was kind of miffed, as, well, I just got called an orc. Since then, I've considered it a compliment, and honestly it isn't far off (save, y'know, the tusks, green skin and bad hair.)
splodesondeath May 7th 2011 6:20PM
I imagined that being said by Fabienne from Pulp Fiction, and it made it so much better.
"Pot bellies are sexy."

Just searched over 150+ pages on DeviantArt for this image.
Some things cannot be unseen...

The funny thing (or not funny) is that I believe the OP was being sarcastic. I do think Dwarf women at cute. However as Drey pointed out the artist here had a real hard problem with the dwarf and drew up some butter faced cherub on steroids. They also made the gnome chick pretty scary looking. Which is too bad. And If Orc females were that cute in the game I'm sure more people would play them. Except for their laugh which was pretty much copied and pasted onto Worgen. Forget new raids. I want a patch to fix the old races :)
