Honestly all the good raiding guilds have subs. Not only does it help if someone can't make it that night, but the looming threat of possibly being sat for poor performance keeps people on their toes. A 25 man raid with 5 bench warmers can still feel pressed, the letter writer is in every right to alternate people out, if those 3 wanna leave, let them, good riddance.
