I can kinda understand where the people being subbed out are coming from, seeing as how I used to be in a guild where I was someone who was a substitute raider a lot of the time. I used to be in the main group but during one of my breaks they decided to replace me permanently with someone else, which I guess is fine and all, but I should've had the opportunity to earn my spot back, IMO, but I was never given said opportunity. That being said, it sounds like these players were aware of the situation before joining the raid/guild, which if that is indeed the case, then they really have no one to blame but themselves. If they didn't want to be substitutes, then they shouldn't have joined and found a raid/guild that needed more regulars. That is what I did, when I rolled a toon on a new server. I was sick of being left out of raids since we didn't have enough regulars for a 25 man group nor for two 10 man groups, and I was sick of them not helping gear anyone up except the main group either.
