Cody created The Burden of Consequence for the Blizzard 2010 machinima contest. It's essentially a dramatic retelling of the conflict between Garrosh and Thrall, with a guest appearance by Malorne.
I especially enjoyed the depiction of how the duel between Garrosh and Thrall would have gone. You definitely get the sense of the two orcs' power and the passion that drives them. The story fits pretty nicely inside existing lore, although I'm not certain at which point in the game's timeline this would fit.
Even if it doesn't tuck in perfectly, though, The Burden of Consequence has a nice, contemplative feel that conveys the overall sense of Horde honor. Interested in the wide world of machinima? Thrall would put up with a pounding, until Garrosh said something silly, then he'd bury that pompous pretender. Even if it could be argued that Garrosh might have won a duel between the two, he certainly wouldn't now and he'd be even less likely in the future. Thrall was, is and will be beyond mere mortality.
Thanks for the glowing review! I made this way back in the summer of 2010 before Blizzard had established how Garrosh would become the new Warchief. Obviously it doesn't match the canon now, but was created with all the information I had available for speculation before Blizzcon 2010.
It was a really cool video. The only thing is I thought Malorne was male. I mean, didn't he sleep with Elune, who then gave birth to Cenraius, or something like that?
You're spot on. The best voice actor I had was female, and despite our best efforts her male orc just sounded weird when we adjusted the pitch. So we instead had her do an ethereal androgynous elk!

What's up with those orc models?

Thrall and Garrosh are both modified versions of their old models. Blizz hadn't released the gorgeous new ones yet.

Always impressed by people who try to animate faces to make it looks like models are actually talking.

Consequences will never be the same!
