This could have happened to me very easily - a draining guild collapse towards the end of Wrath put it firmly on the cards ...

However, I wanted to continue raiding so I made the decision to keep doing so - it meant hunting down the right guild amongst a plethora of choices and ultimately server switching to end up in the one I wanted, but it was a good (albeit doubt-filled) move and I'm still happy in the raiding guild I'm in.
