Save the profiles in the WTF folder. It is the SavedVariables one; and there are two acessed by a char at any one time. There is the one just inside your account, don't touch this. Then there is Realm>Char name>SavedVariables and copy paste the one from your main into the one for your alt. This transfers all settings.

This only will affect the game if you don't have the game open when you do this.
