Great macro, thank you! I'm currently elemental, but this will certainly streamline things for me. Nice to be able to move a little during AoE, but I'll be honest - I'm missing the nearly idiot-proof channelled Earthquakes.

Agreed. Earthquake is pathetic now, so this is really our only option as elemental. That said, there is no way that Blizzard can let the broken AoE for shaman stand for too long. Its overly complex and has too long of a ramp up. By the time we hit full potential, the AoE phase is often over due to classes with real AoE ability.

Earthquake was never a "sexy" option, but at least before it didn't create a 2-2.5s gap in our dps, and could be moved if it needed to be. I'm not even sure how our enhancement brothers stayed with the pack on AoE when the fire elemental was on cooldown.

Some day I dream of Shaman having AoE that doesn't feel pathetic.
