As an Alliance player I do sometimes wonder exactly why I continue to resubscribe. Not a lot of happy stuff going for the Alliance at the moment.

As the faction debate goes, I have no problem with giving horde their due. Wrath was more alliance focus, with better quests and politics. (Being the LK was Arthas) Thrall is the major character is this xpac and that's just the way it is. Next xpac you can stop qqueing cause Turalyon and Alleria are going to pop out of a portal and yell come with me to save the Vers. I also found it funny that Rossi almost broke downing tears over the faction topic. (Lol. Love you but really?)

I caught that as well. Buck up Rossi! It's always darkest right before it goes pitch black...or something

Honestly, I'd love another Patchwerk, especially if it were really tightly tuned.
Tom May 19th 2011 2:23AM
Skippable, of course, but present.
Akamagosh May 20th 2011 3:25AM
Was interesting to hear your thoughts on the topic guys! Thanks for answering the questions :) Would be nice if ya could roll a warrior on Jubei on Horde and come chill out! haha
Warlen May 19th 2011 2:24PM
Wow, could McCurley be any more of a butt-hurt WoW fanboi when you started talking about the 5% loss in subscribers?
Michael Sacco May 20th 2011 12:00AM
Yes.

Sorry, I was a tad mean spirited with my comment. I'm sure he was venting frustration at what he's read on 'other' game forums, but it came across as unprofessional and made me stop listening to the Ep.

Concerning Rossi's .... can't call it anything else... anti-horde rant..
He goes on to say that apparently Blizzard is all about how cool the Horde is, citing among other things them hyping Thrall. However Thrall is now officially neutral, no longer tied to the Horde. Then he goes to dispute that them hyping Druids is not pro-Alliance because they're neutral.
And their new Alliance superman is Malfurion Stormrage, while a druid, very clearly tied to the Alliance.
You can't complain about Thrall being cool and Blizz making Horde cool through Thrall and at the same time be fine with Malfurion, who's the same damn thing for the Alliance, actually more so because Thrall no longer holds any true ties to the Horde, officially, being wholy Earthen Ring affiliated, while Malfurion is married to one of the leaders of the Alliance and you can't tell me he doesn't hold some degree of power in Night Elf society.
As for them making Malfurion cool - need I say anymore than Stormrage novel? I hate it but it IS canon and apparently Malfurion is the single most powerful good being on Azeroth.

They said that the Alliance battlecry should be "Have mercy!" to be exact. And to be honest? I think they need to stop pretty much half-arsing half of the Alliance races.
