We're the only crafting class that I know of that has to wait three or four or even five days each time to get a new recipe. Other people just have to turn in mats. Leather, dreamcloth, ore, whatever.
It's frustrating. I hate the dailies. I'm chained. If I forget to do the dailies or forget to turn in I'm boned. Blizzard could be nice and give us two instead of one, at least.
That'd be a quality of life change for JCs.

At least we can choose ours. Scribes get a random one when they research. Also, you'll note that it's the most profitable professions that are the most annoying. I'll take the million plus gold I've made from JC alone this expansion over being able to buy recipes for mats :)

I hated the dailies in Wrath. I hated having to fly all over the goddamned continent every day, usually to places I wouldn't bother going anyway. Fifteen minutes roundtrip travel, not doing anything else, to kill three or four Great Frozen Foozles and take their Shiny McGuffin. remember telling someone that if I'd known THAT was what was in store when I levelled a JC, I'd have made her a blacksmith instead. XD
But in Cata only one of the JC dailies takes you out of Org. Most of them can be done in thirty seconds (I keep the gems in my bag) one takes maybe a minute (you can sparkle-up NPCs too) and one takes all of five minutes to trot to Hyjal and back. I play a bit most days anyway, I can spare five minutes for the daily.
My main is a tailor, and I currently find the Dreamcloth cooldown MUCH more frustrating than the JC daily.
