I use adibags, i dont see the need to be excited about specialty bags
so much so that i dont even bother making them with my tailor because i assume everybody has a bag mod that sorts their profession mats
i might have made one of those soul bags in wraith, but that was about it

Because 36 slots (assuming you keep them full of the appropriate material) is more space than 26 (largest non-profession bag currently available). Of course if you never carry more than 26 slots' worth of profession-related items then the extra space goes to waste, but a lot of people -do-, and putting those mats in a larger specialty bag frees up space in the regular bags.
