Wow. A 2.0 speed dagger that wont be 2-3 tiers behind on ILvl? My rogue is going to be using that for a looong time.
Faith Trust May 19th 2011 1:52AM
yay! an agi ring without haste!
Tortus May 19th 2011 1:52AM
Oh wow, oh wow. How can that sabre be anything but perfect delicious
and moist Combat Rogue loot? And the Shank! A speed of 2.00? If this
stays this will certainly be a holiday to remember for Rogues Combat
or Assassination. (Oh, and I guess you Sub guys can join in if you
want).

Umm, what really sucks here is the link to the drake, is infected with a virus....
Clicked it, and my virus software popped up saying threat blocked.
Just sayin.....not sayin its your fault, sayin that someone may have added something to that page, so, keepin you informed.
Snuzzle May 19th 2011 2:41AM
It's a wowhead link, or at least is is now. If that's infected, that's a big problem. Just sayin'.
Eirik May 19th 2011 12:56PM
Um... Why was this post downrated? Guy reports that his virus detector found a problem with the page. So ... what? You downrate his post rather than investigate? Don't even ask which virus detector or anything?
The page has a facebook link, as well as using javascript from not merely wowhead, but googleapis.com, quantserve.com, googleadservices.com, google-analytics.com, and google.com. While google is good at removing ads that have malware embedded in them, that doesn't make them perfect. And browsers that are promiscuous in their javascript habits can be affected. Without knowing more details, there's not a lot we can do. Likely, it was something in an ad that wowhead served you for that page.
I can definitely recommend using NoScript, Ad-block Plus, or even malware detecting addons that come with some AV software like the OP here.

As long as The Horseman's reins still drop I'll be happy.

Still? I think they're just a myth everyone but me is in on.

I play Hannalore@US-A-Gnomeregan , and I approve of these updates.
Amaxe May 19th 2011 2:34AM
Well, its probably my best chance to get epics until chaos orbs go off bop
Adegan May 19th 2011 2:37AM
They're being unbound with the same patch.
Toggle May 19th 2011 4:57AM
Which patch is that, exactly? 4.2 is closest, but before either of these holidays goes live we could be playing 4.3. Plus the Q&A only said that the orbs would be "unbound in a future patch", so did I miss another, more specific announcement?
Noyou May 19th 2011 2:13PM
@ Adegan
They NEVER said what patch the orbs were going unbound in. Unless you have some insider info...

Damn it, I suddenly remember how much I want that horsemen mount for my DK now. :( Screw the boring events, bring this one forward!

Kinda hard to change the date of Hallow's End. Given that it's based on the date of Halloween, which is the night before All Saints Day, which is based on either the roman festival of Lemuria or the celtic festival of Samhain, depending who you ask ... and thus has roots going back several thousand years.
Eirik May 19th 2011 1:04PM
If Hallmark can invent holidays like "mother's day" and "father's day", perhaps you can enlist their help in changing Halloween.
Chilleia May 19th 2011 5:53PM
Hallow's End and Brewfest should just be year round events :)
Jebediah54 May 19th 2011 4:50AM
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that not all of those have gotten their minimum levels changed... If level 80s can equip some of that stuff it'd be cuh-razy.
Toggle May 19th 2011 5:15AM
Yeah theres some oddities there it looks like. The top two trinkets are identical, which also seems wacky, unless Blizz really wants people to stack stam.
