They are in D&D! :D Trolls and Ettin are both consider 'giant type' monsters.
But yea, there's a pretty clear visual difference in WoW.

Ettins are closer to what trolls should look like, than the playable race is ;)

Yeah, that was my bad, and you're right, Wulfkin. I was thinking & seeing "troll" along the lines of "They have a cave troll!" from LOTR.
