BlizzCon 2011: Round one of ticket sales are sold out

Here are some fun BlizzCon ticket facts:
- Based on queue positions when tickets sold out, likely less than 4,000 total transactions were completed.
- The WoW Insider staff all clicked to buy our tickets at nearly the exact same second. Some of us didn't get a queue. Others ended up 13,000 deep.
- Whether or not you're getting a BlizzCon ticket today was a matter of one single second.

I started at roughly 5200 in the queue and didn't get them. Sadface. Better luck wednesday.

I was about 8k, and was like, "Sweet! In the queue!" then 2k passed, along with half the tickets, and I was like, "Crap."

I got in at 1500ish. Which was a nice cheer up point after the lousy week i've had. I hope everyone else can get their tickets!

I was refreshing until the clock hit 1 PM (EST). Was 2300 in queue and got my ticket within 15 minutes... all while playing Failocalypse.

No queue, got right in and got my ticket. Live in the LA area but going solo this year afaik, all my guildies are either broke or too far away. :( Oh well, I guess I will have to become less shy and meet people.

We got our tickets... had 3 people trying... 1 was #235, I was #2082, and another started around #3000... we ended up having the first friend get our tix but all 3 of us would have made it in this year.
Disappointed that they charged sales tax this year on top of the ticket. Ended up being around $190 per ticket because of that.

Are you sure you went to the right website? I didn't pay sales tax, or any charge above just the listed cost of the two tickets.

Pretty sure those tickets will get turned away at the door. Blizzard doesn't make money on this con- they use it as marketing, and that means keeping the price lower than it could go otherwise. Everyone trying to sell one on ebay is basically taking 500ish dollars out of blizzard's wallet.
They have a name attached to them, no?
