The Queue: Go away, meteor head
It is waaayyy too late. I've been up all night playing Terraria (and you should, too).
Sumadin asked:
Why is it Druids insists on putting their mark of the wild up even after i buffed the raid with kings?
As a paladin, if a druid is in your group, you should be buffing the group with Might instead of Kings to provide total buff coverage. You have several buff options; druids don't.
RedLobsterRocks asked:
I just leveled an alt through westfall and the defias took over Sentinel Hill, or they are burning it. I got sent to Redridge and the quest giver says he will call for me when the time is right. Does he ever call for me or was that the end of the questline? Do we evr take sentinel hill back or is it destined to be burned to the ground?
You never get called back. It may be added in a future patch.
Ackthbbft asked:
I got my Blizzcon tickets this morning (four-timer!), and after checkout it said something along the lines of "Please provide the names of the attendees by June 10, 2011." Of course, the fact that it said "please" and not "you must" makes me think there is some leeway.
So, what happens if I fail to provide the names by that date, or if my partner ends up unable to go and I must change it?
You can change ticket information at the convention center if you have your ID and the card used to buy the tickets. It's no big deal, just takes some extra time.
Hob asked:
Is there a time limit for getting the black panther cub in Stranglethorn? I can't imagine that this particular quest chain will be around forever, but will it disappear with 4.2, or maybe be available until the end of the expac?
Unless Blizzard says it's removing the cub (and it hasn't mentioned such), it's safe to assume it'll be around a while.
Jacques asked:
If I stop experience gains, is it possible to still gain guild rep?
Yes, you still gain guild rep normally even when your experience is capped.

Does anyone know, or have any speculation, as to why Dragonwrath only has haste, and no crit on it? I know haste is still a good stat for anybody, but the staff wouldn't benefit a fire Mage as much as it would say, a frost Mage.
Thank you also for extinguishing all of our questions about the new comment system (or lack there of) in one of the recent Queues.
One more thing... Where did The Queue from the 20th go?
Eregos ftw! May 22nd 2011 12:33PM
I myself am hoping that they change it too, but the crit is fairly high so you could reforge it to a large amount of haste.
TheBlob May 22nd 2011 12:35PM
Haste is more useful for more classes than Crit is. Crit is good for a few specs, whereas Haste is good-amazing for EVERY caster.
Originally it had Crit instead of Haste and everyone complained, rightly so. Now it has haste and there is much rejoicing.
Eregos ftw! May 22nd 2011 12:40PM
Actually, the new stats show it having haste.
Succulent May 22nd 2011 12:46PM
Dragonwrath originally had crit on it but it was swapped out for haste.
I don't know all the class and spec weights but haste has generally been a much more desireable stat so far than crit. As you say, there are probably classes and specs that prefer crit to haste, but the most likely reason is that haste is just wanted more by more specs and classes.
The ones who prefer crit can always reforge some anyway.

That post was obviously taken in the Rapture.

actually haste has taken the lead over crit slightly since 4.1 for fire mages. and mastery is out the window completely. so rest assured that it is legendarily itemized for your needs.

"If a druid is in your group as a paladin, you should be buffing the group with Might instead of Kings to provide total buff coverage. You have several buff options; druids don't."
Two is several?
Dankie May 22nd 2011 12:33PM
Two is still better than one.
Zapwidget May 22nd 2011 12:37PM
Two can be as bad as one.
Kurash May 22nd 2011 12:41PM
"Several" used to mean two, actually. Same root as "sever." You could say, "We'll go our several ways," for example, to state that the two of you are going two different directions.

Call me old fashioned, but I always went with:
1 is singular
2 is a couple
3-6 is a few
7+ is several.
I know there's not a real convention to it, but seeing as seven and several have a similar root, it just made sense to me.
Anathemys May 22nd 2011 1:01PM
Personally, I always thought in terms of 1, 2, 3, many. So then it would be one, a couple (or several), a few, and many.

sev·er·al
[sev-er-uhl, sev-ruhl]
–adjective
being more than two but fewer than many in number or kind: several ways of doing it.
Buff options:
1. Might.
2. Kings.
3. No buff.
That latter isn't viable but it is still an option! :P Sacco wins.

One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do.
Two can be as bad one, but the loneliest number is the number one.
Rob May 22nd 2011 2:03PM
WTB a comma "If a druid is in your party/raid, as a paladin, you should be blessing might instead of kings.
lazymangaka May 22nd 2011 2:20PM
@Rob:
My thoughts exactly. If the Druid is in your party as a Paladin, you have bigger problems than what buffs to apply.
Strawder May 22nd 2011 2:33PM
Yeah Paladins -used to- have several buffs.
Now's it like the old Bugs Bunny bit: "One lump, or two?"
Rottingrat May 22nd 2011 2:40PM
Maybe it's too many hours playing heroes of might and magic, but I think several is over ten...
tehdilgerer May 22nd 2011 6:10PM
i heard several is over 9000
