Second batch of BlizzCon tickets on sale Wednesday, May 25

To purchase tickets, you'll need to go to Blizzard's BlizzCon tickets page. This is the page you are going to want to refresh constantly in order to purchase passes. Tickets sell out in literally seconds, so be quick with refreshing and clicking purchase.
Once you click purchase, you'll be placed into a queue where you will wait for your chance to purchase tickets. If you are one of the lucky few, you'll be brought immediately to the purchase page. Tickets cost $175 each and are limited to four tickets per household/address.
Here are some tips when attempting to purchase BlizzCon tickets:
- Log into your Battle.net account prior to going to the ticket page.
- The ticket queue will reach critical mass in seconds -- you need to refresh quickly and often.
- Start refreshing prior to the exact moment tickets go on sale. Everyone's clocks are different.

For what it's worth. My clock was a full 45-seconds slow when compared to Blizz's. Start refreshing at least 1-minute before the sale starts.
And another thing. This year, they've removed the ability to change the number of tickets at check out. You must enter in this number before hitting the purchase button.

This isn't true. I changed my quantity successfully at the checkout page as I had been queueing with a friend on Vent and he got in successfully, so I had to drop a ticket.

What Labyrinth says, I also go through queue just fine and was able to change the number of tickets I wanted to purchase. This is why the queue for tickets ended at 11%, the algorithm used to produce the number for remaining tickets its based off what people chose when they first enter the queue, so when people change the number of tickets they are buying when they get to checkout the system doesn't add that into the equation.

Oof, BlizzCon was super fun the two years I went, but that stress, man... never again.

I've never attended Blizzcon (minus the one in Paris, which, I attended with a buddy who got busted and I was his "mommy"----we were serving at the embassy in Paris and when you get in trouble you have to have an escort).
My wife and I have had guildies stay at our place (we met them when I was stationed back East), and she'd love for me to take her. Parking isn't a problem (we live about 90 minutes away during the heat of rush hour), so, is there anything more we should know? I've actually got tickets the past 3 years, only to deploy. I hope if we go, I hope to have a developer sign one of them for crits & giggles.

Is there a way to somehow prepopulate the form with "2" tickets and submit it as easily as possible? I probably lost 5000 places in queue just realizing what the page was showing, and then picking from the drop down with a touchpad on a laptop. Definitely using a mouse next time -- or if the focus is already set to the drop down by default maybe you can just smack the "2" key and click submit.

If you know how to do it, wouldn't it be possible to create a macro that would refresh the page then click in the location of the 'buy' box rapidly?

I feel that you should have to fill out the ticket information within 1-2 hours after purchase to slow down these E-bay scumbags.

A couple suggestions which might help (some were mentioned already):
-Make sure you aren't confused about the time zone!
-Start refreshing ~3-4 minutes before it is time. Modern operating systems sync with NTP servers to keep the clocks the correct, but that doesn't mean your "correct" is the same as Blizzard's.
-It will always have a selection box for the number of tickets toward the lower part of the window. Keep your mouse down there as that half second it takes to get down there can mean missing it.
-Be ready to type your password.
-Always use a mouse if possible - unless you're a fast trackpadder. :)
Hope it helps someone and I'll see you there if you got tickets.

Purchasing tickets to an event shouldn't be a meta game. If statistically you know you aren't going to get a ticket because some eBay bitch has 10 machines macro'd to spam the website why sit and spend 15 minutes of your life only to be disappointed. I'd love to go to blizcon. It's just never going to happen because of my web connection and macro spammers.

I've got 4 tickets, but now I can't go. I'm trying to sell them at face value; I'm not trying to rip off my fellow gamer. If you're interested, email me at geniusboy91@aol.com and I can prove to you I actually have them, etc.
