3 weeks in a row Bind On Equip hasn't been listed - there was an update in the last 24 hours.
show #125 "Oops! We did it again" http://www.bindonequip.com/?p=942
Not sure what is wrong with your updater - perhaps try linking to www.bindonequip.com
Thanks.

BoE is vastly superior to most (it's in the top 5 for sure) of the ones they listed; i can only assume they're threatened of us Aussies.

BoE is without a doubt, the best podcast out there, and certainly should be on this list, yet regularly it is not.
I'd like to feel like this list was pretty inclusive, but this omission gives me some doubt in that area. C'mon Wowinsider, don't let me down. : )

Bind on Equip all the way!!!

The Roundup this week was for the dates of May 16-22nd, as listed in the title. Your podcast updated on May 23rd, which means it'll be in next week's roundup.
bindonequip May 23rd 2011 11:32PM
If we're going to split hairs it was posted before midnight 22/05/11 [US Time] & the recorded date is 17/05/11.

I don't think you quite understand how I do this -- it's the same way I've done it since I took the column over nearly a year ago. I have a list of links that I keep, and I manually check the links on the list every Sunday night at midnight EST. What I am checking is the link I have on my list, the link submitted by the podcasters. The post with the show notes on your front page has a date of May 23rd -- I look at that date, I go 'All right, next week then' and I link it the following week. That's how I've always done it, since day one.
I'm sorry I missed your podcast last week, I already noted on last week's roundup that your site was down at the time I was compiling the list, and in addition to that, I corrected the roundup list and added your podcast in. Generally speaking, if there are technical issues with a website to a point where I cannot find a post to link to, I will skip it for the week. I've been doing that since I took over this column as well.
This column is and always has been a weekly column, and updates have always been on a weekly basis, based by date. I'm sorry if that doesn't work for you, but if you had an update posted on your website after the deadline you are always free to post about it in the comments section. Rest assured however, it will be posted in the list next week.

I believe this issue is that our local time is GMT +10 hours and we normally update on a Monday morning local time which is late Sunday night US EST. Up until recently we have not had an issue and have appreciated being included in the listing on a regular basis.
This week as an example - the post date does indeed show as 23 May which was the local date/time. Being aware that the your post normally goes up on a Tuesday local time I had hoped that I had posted my update in time [before midnight Sunday US EST]. As you have explained, the time difference has lead to this issue which is understandable.
I appreciated your support last week & thank you for taking the time to respond to the concerns of myself & our listeners. I know a number of them look to your column to see what is new and worth listening too.

I think we can safely chalk this one up to wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff then! I hope that clears things up anyway; I don't leave people off unless one of two things occurs; 1. They didn't update during the dates listed in the headline, or 2. There was a website issue on their end, so there was no link -- can't link to something I can't see! Other than that, I'm happy to add links to the list. :D

Just so you know both the Joystiq Podcast, and Xbox 360 fan cast are over, sounds like they are working on a new podcast that will start sometime after E3
Nevarmoer May 24th 2011 12:31AM
More importantly, why isn't Radiolab listed in the "other podcasts we listen to" section!?
Lary May 24th 2011 1:49AM
Right!? Radiolab is my new best friend :)
