Shadowmeld is problematic, though, in that the aggro is still there, and it all comes back as soon as you move or take damage. It's not an aggro dump like Vanish or Soulshatter.

Basically proper use of Shadowmeld requires keeping a close eye on Omen so you don't accidentally come out of it too early and pull aggro again. Assuming you do not have to move out of fire or get hit by an AoE pulse. Then you are just SOL.

Shadowmeld is also one of the best PvP racials. I've lost count of how many newbs I've ambushed while because they've thought the room was empty and they could just walk up to the flag. It also lets you drop combat: Hungering Cold + Shadowmeld = quick ride to freedom if you're being chased on foot.
