LFD etiquette says you have priority on gear suited to the role for which you queued. As a DPS, you should not be rolling on tank gear unless/until the tank says he doesn't want it. Period. If you want to build a tank set out of LFD, then invest in some starter crafted/reputation/JP tank gear and queue as a tank.
