great advice, for sure, and of course, we try to stay behind a mob as much as possible. Only thing that really bothers me is that I have been in PUGs with tanks who either didnt see those acid puddles on the floor under/behind the mob, or ignored them... or just didnt know how important it is for melee to be behind the mob.
It makes it hard to stand behind the mob if there is such a big puddle under him, and it is frustrating when the mob isnt being pulled out of it, sometimes with the tank even taking actual dmg from them.
I hate to have to stand in front of the mob because of any cone-shaped dmg effect, so I wish more tanks would try to pull mobs out of stuff on the ground, not only for their own safety, but also to allow for melee to stay behind the mob.
Of course, I also have pugged with tanks who did exactly that, great positiong and kiting.
