It came from the Blog and The Insiders this Saturday for a party at the World's End Tavern in Shattrath. We will have refreshments, do a little dancing and play party games of my devising.
-
When: Saturday, May 28 at noon EDT (9 a.m. PDT, 10 a.m. server time)
-
Where: The World's End Tavern in Shattrath City on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H)
-
Who: Any Horde character, though level 10 and above would be easier to transport. Alliance may dance with us, too, but will be unable to participate in the party games.
-
How: Ask any It came from the Blog member for an invite.
Unlike most of our events, transportation will be provided for all those unable to get there on their own power. As with most of our events, I will be streaming the festivities.
So bring your best outfit plus a variety of food and drink, and maybe we can even get an achievement or two. Hope to see you there!
Please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) in It came from the Blog. Any member can invite, so /whisper Roblinator or any online member. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules -- basically, don't be a funsucker! Visit the guild FAQ for more details.Tags: featured, guild-event, guild-events, wow-com-guild, wow-dot-com-guild, wow-event, wow-events, wow-insider, wow-insider-guild, wow-insider-guild-event, wowinsider

"Join It came from the Blog and The Insiders this Saturday for a party at the World's End Tavern in Shattrath."
That will probably be the largest number of people in Shattrath since WOLK went live.

I think the tavern will be too small to hold such a number of people.

It would have been more fitting to hold it last Saturday =P.

Oh no! I'll be camping this week end.
Hope you all have a blast. :)

hmmm.. I might have to make a DK on Zangarmarsh JUST so that I can join the party! ;)

I wouldn't know my way around there. I'd need a captain who knew those waters to get there.

So when are there any events on EU coming? Seems like EU users are really left out here.
Kiomi May 27th 2011 5:50AM
This.
I always feel left out when i see the fun things being organised on the US server by the blog. :( We simply cannot go there.
Plz to give some love to europe.

Well, to be fair, I would think that the WI editors would have as hard a time doing an event on a EU server as you would taking part in an event on a US server.

A bit off topic, but somewhat related question:
How is the community on Zangar?
I've just activated a 3-month time card, and while I want to level my Troll Shaman on Scarlet Crusade, I'm always looking for a reason to roll on a different server and fool around with like minded people.
Seeing as my "main" server friends are currently occupied with non-WoW things, and I can only do so much on my Shaman before I get my "level cap blues", I was thinking that maybe rolling around with people from WI would be a good change of pace.
Any input on this would be appreciated... though be warned: While I am a nice person, I am still a sarcastic, wise-cracking jerk for the most part.

Our active guild, The Insiders, is large and very friendly. We have a zero-tolerance policy on drama, cussing, spamming, etc, so things stay friendly. We're mostly WoW Insider readers (and some commenters), and led by Robin of course. For some it's our main guild, for others it's an alt guild and a good way to escape your main guild on occasion.
We also have "funrun" raids every Wednesday where we run OS/Sarth+3D for the free drake and titles. And we usually run another old raid right after for more mounts, titles, rep, etc, or just for fun. There's also members that regularly run heroics, normals, battlegrounds, etc.
We're also a lvl 25 guild with all the perks and a guild bank that's almost always full thanks to our generous members. We also have forums for discussion outside of WoW Insider topics.

@Samutz:
Sounds quite nice... I'm mainly looking for some chatter to break up the monotony of leveling my various alts... I just joined a guild on a different alt, and was a bit dismayed with the lack of... conversation. A few "grats" for random achievements, and a random comment about this and that gear, and silence.
Anyhow... I'll probably be dropping by sometime later today and see what happens.

I will be there.
