Reminds me of one of the LOTRO collectors editions, where I think the UK distributor promised some sort of wax sealed document which they couldn't deliver on. Such a thing seemed minor to me (I bought the collector's edition for $10 from Amazon a few years after the forums I read were dated for) but a lot of people seemed angry that the British distributor continued to sell the box which listed on the back items which had been removed.

I may have some facts wrong, and perhaps a EU player can correct me (I'm American, and only stumbled into this looked into what the collectors edition came with to see what I was getting for spending $9.99 instead of 8.99) but it struck me as interesting that you never know what people will find important.
