Aerial combat WAS in the wrath beta. Wintergrasp ha flying machines and it was crazy fun. But there were an inordinate amount of people (players) who would crash their machines into the wintergrasp towers whilst shouting in te chat channels about pearl harbor, jihad, 9/11, etc. Players ruined that content, not the devs.
