Um, perhaps you've been hiding in a hole somewhere, but the Hybrid Tax went away with Wrath. If your spec is a DPS spec you should be close to the other DPS specs. If you choose to spec for more utility you are doing so at the cost of DPS (basically a built in Hybrid Tax, no need for artificial restrictions). For Arms this is a HUGE nerf, an 8% nerf ACROSS THE BOARD (as you put it) for a spec that is underperforming on 90% of the current raid content. Ranged has 100% uptime on the boss (if the boss has to be kited around the room for example you can sit and nuke while I have to reposition constantly, not to mention the fact that we get about a quarter of a second to live if the tank dies. Shut your spoiled Warlock mouth before I side with the filthy mages in the Lock vs Mage debate and murder your toon repeatedly.
