Overall, I like Hyjal. The big climatic scene with Aessina shook my warlock to her core.
However, I do agree with the sentiment that it should have been a more vicious fight with the Twilight Hammer. The story desperately needs the heroes to lose a few times to make the bad guys more of a threat.
Instead we dress like them, go through some humorous quests, then sit back and watch NPCs defeat them. Making the Twilight Hammer the punchline in a series of jokes undermines the expansion.
Blizzard made the same mistake in Wrath. I had really hoped they had learned their lesson after Arthas became such a non-threat but I guess that hope was misplaced.

Except the Twilight's hammer have always been a joke. They're just this crazy characters running around trying to make the world end but don't have a plan and are basically pawns for whatever big baddy can use them. They're like the Underpants Gnomes of the Apocalypse.
