To be fair, you can't tell by listening whether fault lies with the voice actor or the director. Point in fact, you can never really blame the voice actors in the end -- if bad voice acting makes it into the final cut, it's because the director or management wasn't doing their jobs. They should have given better direction, or ultimately gotten a different actor if the one they had couldn't do it right.
