Fandral was a big issue for me. I'm pretty invested in Warcraft lore, but I'm not a master yet. The quests involving Fandral just kept me barely reminded that he was the important guy who lost his son in war. When I found out what is happening to him in 4.2, I couldn't help but feel cheated. His quests didn't do enough for me personally to set up how big of a deal his situation was going to be. If it wasn't for me frequenting sites like WoW Insider and the obvious wikis and pedias, when 4.2 hits, I would most definitely have been saying Majordomo Whozzat?
