Interesting. I'm glad I didn't update to the newest version of the authenticator when I had the chance. You didn't mention it in the article, but there was an update on iTunes available for a few minutes. It mentioned something about adding the ability to back up your serial number or something of that nature. It was enough that I thought it was odd and would wait for news of someone else trying it first.
