Does Cataclysm have too much potential content?

"Cataclysm sets the stage for the new status quo" I wish this was true, so far it seems like 70% of the gear is reused art and the same goes for mobs, the reuses of dead mines and ZA and ZG is just cheep when there is so much we could be doing that would be new and relevant. It feel like this expansion cut a lot of corners, i think 50% of the wow staff went to work on "Titan" or over slept while they made cata.
