I see "tanking damage" a few times in the article. Did the author mean "take damage" or am I unfamiliar with "tanking damage".

Meant what he said, you're like the tank, you're meant to just stand there and get hit, rather than avoiding it or whatnot. Drain tanking used to be quite effective, if drainlife could heal you as much as they damaged you (or close) while your dots ate them away.
