a legal issue with the source of Flintlocke's comic (the source material) - most likely the legal department is trying to help the designers walk the fine line between homage and "ripping off" the comic.

Wait, so a web comic creator that deliberately rips off Blizzard's source material for his own work is bitching because Blizzard decided to honor his efforts in-game?

I thought Fargo **worked** for Blizzard now. I would have thought the Flintlocke references would have involved him in some way to begin with.

Ah well, I'm no lawyer and there may be tons of legal issues I never conceived of which are in play.
